What we collect
Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company name, budget range and the message you send through our contact or newsletter forms.
Information collected automatically: pages visited, referring source, approximate location, browser and device type, and campaign parameters (UTM tags) if you arrived from an ad or a link. Your IP address is recorded with form submissions purely as a spam control.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal. To send the monthly newsletter, if you asked for it. To understand which pages and campaigns bring useful enquiries, so we can improve the site. To detect and block spam submissions.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Legal basis
We process enquiry data on the basis of your consent, given when you tick the consent box and submit a form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to potential clients. You can withdraw consent at any time.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for ‹24 months› from your last contact with us, then deleted. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. IP addresses attached to form submissions are purged after 90 days.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them on the consent bar; declining does not limit any part of the site. Essential cookies keep your session and your consent choice, and cannot be turned off.

Who else processes your data
Our website hosting provider, our email provider, and Google Analytics. Each processes data on our instructions only.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email Contact@thetrafficedge.com and we will action it within 30 days.
